With book 3, we'll be moving to a new spotlight character and spending more time in the House of Shadow. While The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King is the end of Oraya and Raihn's core story, wrapping up the Nightborn Duet, there are still 6 books total in the core Crowns of Nyaxia series. It was a very difficult road, but ultimately, I feel really proud of where this story ended up. This was one of the hardest books I've ever written for a number of reasons, from health issues to deadline stress, but the biggest of which was that I so desperately wanted to make sure that it does Oraya's story justice for the (totally unexpected) huge number of readers who connected with her in book 1.
